Tank Driving
In the UK you are unable to drive on the public highway but you are able to go off roading in a 20 tonne tank so long as you wear the proper personal protection equipment (PPE). May be we should get on to Clarkson?
Climbing
The main problem besides being completely knackered within 5 feet is that the controller swings around erratically and you tend to lose your balance.
Sailing 
The controller is not waterproof, fall in the water and you are dead!
The first boat I went on was the chain ferry at Pool in Dorset this was early on in my round Britain Tour. The next, Isle of Sky to Mallaig ferry from these humble beginnings I worked my way up to sailing in my pals yacht in Cardiff and of course the narrow boat trip in Scotland.

This summer he may be taking the boat to Plymouth unfortunately he is unable to navigate so unless he can learn in the next 4 months what he has been unable to do in the last 16 years I will probably have to ……..?
